TAVO Crispin – crash-tested dog car crate
The TAVO Crispin is a tall, roomy travel crate for the back seat with airy mesh panels, so your dog or cat feels at home instead of cooped up in a cramped kennel. The Crispin is crash-tested and attaches with integrated latches to your car’s ISOFIX anchor points, backed up by a top tether. Crate and pet stay in place, you are less distracted while driving and your interior stays clean. Not in use? It folds down compactly. TAVO comes from the makers of NUNA®, the premium stroller and car seat brand with Dutch roots, more than 320 international awards and top scores in the demanding ADAC car seat test. That safety expertise is built into every TAVO.

Which size should I choose?
Choose the size based on your pet’s build, not just its weight. Your dog should be able to sit upright and lie down comfortably. Compare your dog’s seated height with the inner height, and its body length with the inner length.
| Small | Medium | Large | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Inner dimensions (L × W × H) | 61 × 43 × 44.5 cm | 72.5 × 43 × 44.5 cm | 82.5 × 43 × 46 cm |
| Maximum pet weight | 22.7 kg | 24.9 kg | 27.2 kg |
What makes the Crispin unique?
01. Securely attached in the car
The Crispin is firmly fixed to the vehicle seat. In a sudden stop or collision, crate and pet stay in place and do not endanger other occupants.
02. Easy installation
Push-on connectors click onto your car’s lower ISOFIX anchor points. A top tether adds extra stability.
03. Crash-tested
TAVO tests the Crispin in its dynamic test facilities with cutting-edge equipment, using the same approach as for its car seats.
04. Tailor Tech™ memory foam and side impact protection
The SIP (Side Impact Protection) guard with Tailor Tech™ memory foam absorbs impact energy and adds protection in a side collision. It attaches easily to the frame.
05. Structured base and reinforced shell
The structured base spreads weight evenly and does not sag. The outer shell is reinforced with a durable material under a protective fabric layer, built for heavy use.
06. All-round mesh ventilation
Mesh panels all around provide fresh air and a view, which helps reduce travel stress.
07. Tall doors on both sides
A tall zip door on each side lets you reach your pet from whichever side you are on.
08. Collapsible
The Crispin folds down compactly and is delivered folded. The carry bag and dust cover keep it neatly stored.
09. Premium materials
Vegan leather accents, two washable mattresses (one durable, one plush with antimicrobial treatment) and naturally flame-resistant fabrics, free of harmful fire retardants.
