Comporta dinnerware – earthy tones and crackle glaze from Portugal
The Comporta dinnerware is handmade in Portugal and has a crackle glaze: fine, intentional lines across the surface, in warm, mixed earth tones. The green oven dishes from the same collection go straight from the oven to the table. Choose by item, individually or in sets.
✔ Handmade stoneware from Portugal
✔ Crackle glaze in mixed earth tones
✔ Plates, bowls, mugs, serving bowl and oven dishes
✔ Individually or in sets of 2, 4 or 6 pieces
Why choose the Comporta dinnerware?
01. Crackle glaze
The fine cracks in the glaze are intentional and give every piece a lively texture. The intensity differs from piece to piece.
02. Warm earth tones
The mixed tones are reminiscent of sun-baked landscapes. Colour variations, from brown to deep blue or green, are part of the handmade process.
03. From oven to table
According to Bazar Bizar, the green oven dishes are sturdy and chip-resistant, and beautiful enough to serve in.
04. Individually or in sets
Add single pieces to your tableware or choose a set of identical pieces, so you can set a full table straight away.
Care
We recommend washing the dinnerware by hand to protect the handmade glaze. Colour variations and the intensity of the crackle are not a manufacturing defect, but typical of the material and the handmade process.

FAQ
Where is the Comporta dinnerware made?
The dinnerware is handmade in Portugal, in stoneware.
Why does every piece have a different colour?
The crackle glaze and the handmade process give each piece its own tone and texture, from brown to deep blue or green. This is not a manufacturing defect.
Can I use the oven dishes in the oven?
Yes, they are oven dishes. Bazar Bizar describes them as sturdy and chip-resistant.
Can I buy single pieces or sets?
Both. In the selection menu you choose a single piece or a set of 2, 4 or 6 identical pieces for each item. In a set, each piece costs less than when bought singly. That way you can add to your tableware or set a full table in one go.
How much does delivery cost?
For dinnerware and tableware orders from €85, delivery is free to Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, France and Austria, and from €150 to other EU countries. Below that, shipping costs are calculated per country in the cart.
