AirBuggy CUBE CARRIAGE – the dog stroller for large dogs up to 55 kg
The AirBuggy CUBE CARRIAGE is the four-wheel open dog stroller for heavy, large dogs and owners who want maximum flexibility. With a 55 kg load capacity, a built-in rear ramp and an open platform, the CARRIAGE offers great comfort for dogs that struggle to get in and out. The included roof (ROOF) prevents sudden escapes and offers shelter in bad weather. Without the roof, the CARRIAGE also works as a utility cart.

What makes the CUBE CARRIAGE unique?
01. 55 kg load capacity – for large, heavy breeds
The CARRIAGE is designed for dogs too heavy for the CUBE NEST (45 kg). With a load capacity of up to 55 kg, it suits large breeds such as Rottweiler, Bernese Mountain Dog, Labrador and Golden Retriever. For giant breeds up to 80 kg, there is the AirBuggy AIR-CRUISER.
02. Open platform with removable roof
The CARRIAGE has an open, carriage-style platform. Your dog travels in the open air – ideal for dogs that find a closed cot confining or love to look around. The ROOF clicks on easily to protect against sudden escapes or unexpected bad weather.
03. Built-in rear ramp
Thanks to the fixed ramp at the back, dogs with hip or joint problems, senior dogs and heavy breeds can get in and out on their own. The entry height is just 20 cm – no lifting needed.
04. KENDA air tyres at the rear (12 inch)
The rear wheels are 12-inch air tyres from tyre brand KENDA. They absorb shocks on cobblestones, gravel and dirt paths. The front wheels (7 inch) are solid PU for light, smooth turning.
05. Triangular frame for easy pushing
Despite its 55 kg capacity, the CARRIAGE is easy to push thanks to its triangular frame – even fully loaded.
06. Folds down to 45 cm high
The frame folds to 45 cm high and 70 cm wide – it fits in the boot of most cars.
07. Also works as a utility cart
Without a dog, the CARRIAGE is a sturdy platform for heavy shopping, garden supplies or market purchases up to 55 kg.
08. Wrist strap included
Extra safety when you briefly let go of the handlebar – the stroller always stays under control.
The ROOF
The ROOF protects your dog from sudden escapes in crowds or at the vet. With the roof fitted, the inner dimensions are: width 45 cm × depth 82.5 cm × height 55 cm.

FAQ
What is the difference between the CARRIAGE and the CUBE NEST?
The CARRIAGE has a higher load capacity (55 kg vs 45 kg) and an open platform — ideal for dogs that prefer travelling in the open air or that find a closed cot claustrophobic. The CUBE NEST has a closed cot with roof. Both have a low entry height, but the CARRIAGE also features a built-in rear ramp.
Is the roof (ROOF) required?
No, the roof is optional (included as standard in the SET version). The CARRIAGE is fully functional as an open platform without the roof. The roof is useful in busy environments (vet, market, city centre) or in unexpected weather conditions.
Can my dog get in and out independently?
Yes. The CARRIAGE has a built-in rear ramp and an entry height of just 20 cm — lower than the CUBE NEST (25.5 cm). Even dogs with serious hip or joint problems can independently board and exit in most cases.
Is the CARRIAGE suitable for multiple dogs at the same time?
Yes, as long as the combined weight stays below 55 kg. The open platform provides space for multiple medium-sized dogs side by side.
Can I use the CARRIAGE as a transport trolley?
Yes. Without a dog, the open platform of the CARRIAGE is excellent for heavy shopping, garden supplies or other loads up to 55 kg. The aluminium frame construction is sturdy enough for this purpose.
How do I fold the CUBE CARRIAGE?
The aluminium frame folds to a height of 45 cm and a width of 70 cm — exactly the size of an average car boot. Assembly is straightforward and requires no tools.
Are the tyres difficult to maintain?
The rear tyres are 12-inch air tyres — maintenance identical to bicycle tyres. Check pressure monthly and inflate with the included air pump. The front wheels are solid PU and require no maintenance.
Is the CUBE CARRIAGE also suitable for cats?
Yes, but due to the open platform and larger dimensions, the DOME 3 BRAKE or CUBE NEST is more practical for most cats. The CARRIAGE is primarily a product for large dogs.
