Which size do I need?
1. Measure your dog from the collar to the base of the tail. Length determines the size, not weight:
- XS: 25–33 cm
- S: 33–43 cm
- M: 43–51 cm
- L: 51–58 cm
- XL: 58–66 cm
2. Take build into account. Is your dog broad, muscular or stocky (for example a bulldog, Staffordshire or beagle)? Then choose one size up.
Is your dog a little loose in the pack? A K9 Sport Sack Booster Block raises the base so your dog sits securely. Choose the XS/S booster for sizes XS and S, and the M/L booster for sizes M, L and XL.

FAQ
Which K9 Sport Sack Knavigate size do I need?
Measure your dog from the collar to the base of the tail: XS 25–33 cm, S 33–43 cm, M 43–51 cm, L 51–58 cm, XL 58–66 cm. If your dog is broad or muscular, choose one size up. If it sits loosely, raise the base with a K9 Sport Sack Booster Block.
What weight is the Knavigate suitable for?
The Knavigate is made for dogs from 2 to 23 kg. Your dog's length determines the size, and its weight should stay within this range.
What is the difference between the Knavigate and the Kolossus?
The Knavigate comes in XS to XL for dogs from 2 to 23 kg. The Kolossus comes in L to XXL for bigger dogs from 9 to 36 kg. It has a removable storage pack and a rain and sun hood, and converts into a 50 to 60 litre hiking backpack.
Why does the Knavigate have a hip belt?
Every size has an internal frame and a padded hip belt. Your dog's weight rests on your hips, not only on your shoulders, which makes longer walks more comfortable.
Where can I store my things?
The Knavigate has hip pockets, two side pockets and a storage pocket under the base that runs to the bottom of the frame.
Does my dog stay cool in the backpack?
The side panels are breathable mesh so air can flow around your dog. On warm days, still take regular breaks and give your dog water.
Which colours is the Knavigate available in?
Lunar Rock, Midnight Black and Dune Red. Dune Red is available from size S.
