Why is the Blue-9 KLIMB better than a standard elevation?

The KLIMB was specifically designed by experts in canine behavior. Unlike a plastic crate or wooden box, the KLIMB offers a completely stable, wobble-free surface with a specialized PawGrip™ non-slip coating. This gives the dog the confidence they need to focus on the exercise rather than their balance.

How does this platform help with Place Training?

The KLIMB creates a clear, physical boundary for the dog. Due to the elevation, the dog quickly understands where their territory ends, which is essential for teaching settling, focus, and impulse control. It effectively helps reduce unwanted behaviors, such as jumping on guests or begging at the table.

Is the Blue-9 KLIMB suitable for outdoor use?

Yes, the KLIMB is constructed from high-quality, UV-stabilized plastic and is completely waterproof. This makes it perfect for both indoor and outdoor sessions, as it won’t fade in the sun or become damaged by rain.

Can I use the KLIMB platform without the legs?

Absolutely. The legs are easily removable and can be stored securely in the base of the platform. Without legs, the KLIMB is approximately 4 inches (10 cm) high, which is ideal for introducing puppies or shy dogs to the concept of platform training.

How do I prevent my dog from slipping on the platform?

The KLIMB features an exclusive PawGrip™ non-slip surface. This specialized rubberized texture provides maximum traction and safety, ensuring your dog feels confident even during high-energy exercises or rapid movements.

Is the KLIMB stable enough for large, heavy breeds?

Yes, the KLIMB is engineered to be incredibly robust, with a weight capacity of over 500 lbs (225 kg). The legs screw firmly into the corners, providing a rock-solid, wobble-free surface that is essential for building a dog's confidence during place training.

Is the KLIMB safe for puppies?

Certainly. For puppies or dogs that are fearful of heights, you can use the KLIMB without the legs. The platform is then only 4 inches (10 cm) high. As the pup's confidence grows, you can easily add the legs to utilize the full height.
