An easy-reach button releases the backpack from the car with one hand, for smooth transfers from home to car and back.

03. Side Impact Protection (SIP)
The SIP guard with Tailor Tech™ memory foam fits into either side pocket of the backpack and absorbs energy in a collision.

Comfort for your pet

04. Versatile design
From structured backpack to crash-tested car seat, whether you are walking, taking a taxi or travelling by train.

05. All-round mesh ventilation
Mesh panels all around provide fresh air and give your cat or dog a view of the world.

06. Structured base
The structured base spreads weight evenly and does not sag, making the backpack easier to carry and more comfortable for you both.

Premium materials

07. Naturally flame-resistant
The fabrics are naturally flame-resistant and free of harmful fire-retardant chemicals.

08. UPF 50+
The fabric is UPF 50+, the highest sun protection rating achievable for fabrics.

09. Machine-washable mattress pads
Two pads: one durable and one extra-soft comfort pad. Both are machine-washable.

Thoughtful details

10. Back-friendly carrying system
Padded, adjustable shoulder straps and a detachable waist belt spread the weight evenly.

11. Trolley sleeve
Slide the backpack over your suitcase handle for stress-free travel.

12. Zip-down side doors
The doors unzip on either side for easy ins and outs.

13. Tracker holder, luggage tag and inner leash
Attach a tracker and a luggage tag to the backpack. The short inner leash keeps your pet safely clipped in.

How does TAVO test?

TAVO tests its protection systems at dynamic test facilities with cutting-edge equipment. Performance is benchmarked against the UN child restraint standard, ECE R129. Using the R129 speed and performance criteria as a model, frontal and side impacts are simulated with Q-series dummies, in different postures your pet may take. During testing, the dummies stayed inside the system and met the criteria. The design protects both your pet and the vehicle occupants.
