Umbrosa took its inspiration from the agility of the human arm: the parasol hangs from a 2-metre Neo arm mounted on the wall, and you tilt and turn it into the position you need. How much wind can the Paraflex handle?
In wind-tunnel tests with fixed anchoring, the 2 m square and Ø 2.7 m reach Beaufort 6, and the 2.3 m square and Ø 3 m reach Beaufort 5. Umbrosa advises closing the parasol once wind exceeds 30 km/h (Beaufort 4) and never leaving it open unattended.
Can I close the parasol without taking it off the arm?
Yes, the Paraflex closes on the arm.
Is a protective cover included?
No. The Paraflex protective cover is sold separately and recommended for a longer service life.
What warranty does Umbrosa offer?
15 years on the aluminium profiles, 5 years on the canopy and stainless steel, and 3 years on synthetic parts, under Umbrosa warranty terms.
