The AirBuggy DOME 3 series is the best-selling dog buggy range from the Japanese premium brand AirBuggy, built on more than 25 years of buggy engineering experience. Within the series there are three trims — BRAKE, PREMIER and PREMIER Si — which all share the same proven, welded aluminium frame but differ in finish, comfort features and materials. In this article we compare the three side by side, so you know exactly which trim fits your needs and budget.

2. What do all three trims share?
Every AirBuggy DOME 3 has a 180° opening canopy with magnetic closure, a three-wheel aluminium frame with a 360° swivelling front wheel, and folds in one motion down to just 30 cm thick. The removable cot has two built-in safety tethers, a 17-litre storage basket with two cup holders is included as standard, and the cot fabric offers UPF 50+ sun protection. The handbrake was co-developed with the Japanese brand KARASAWA and gives you full control even on slopes. All trims are certified to the European safety standard EN 1888-2 — AirBuggy is the only Japanese brand with this certification — and the wheels use automotive-grade bearings for a whisper-quiet ride.
3. AirBuggy DOME 3 BRAKE — the entry model with the widest colour choice
The DOME 3 BRAKE is AirBuggy's best-selling model and offers all the series' core features at the lowest entry price. Available in Regular (up to 12 kg, ideal for Toy Poodles, Pugs or Italian Greyhounds) and Large (up to 20 kg, suitable for French Bulldogs, Corgis or Cocker Spaniels). An excellent choice for anyone who wants the full AirBuggy experience without paying for the premium extras.
4. AirBuggy DOME 3 PREMIER — four exclusive upgrades
The DOME 3 PREMIER builds on the same frame but adds four features: an ergonomic square handle that reduces fatigue on longer walks, off-road tyres with a more aggressive tread for forest trails and gravel paths, a stand lock so the buggy stays upright on its own without you holding it, and a water-repellent OEKO-TEX® Standard 100-certified fabric. Available in five colours: Dim Grey, Seed Beige, Ivory White, Navy Blue and Moss Green.
5. AirBuggy DOME 3 PREMIER Si — silicone leather and YKK buckles
The DOME 3 PREMIER Si is the most luxurious trim. The cot, canopy, storage basket and handle are all wrapped in silicone leather — a material with the look of genuine leather but weather-resistant, scratch-resistant and easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth. The magnetic buckles are exclusive YKK × AirBuggy instead of FIDLOCK®, and the AirBuggy logo is embossed into the cot. The Si line is available in two colours: Si Black and Si Pearl.
