Which size should I choose?
Regular – for dogs up to 12 kg. Ideal for small breeds such as Toy Poodle, Pug and Italian Greyhound, or for several small dogs together. Cot inner size: 53.5 × 31 cm (L × W), height 50 cm.
Large – for dogs up to 20 kg. The roomier version for medium breeds such as French Bulldog, English Bulldog, Corgi, Cocker Spaniel and Sheltie. Cot inner size: 66 × 32 cm (L × W), height 52 cm.
Large = 20% more interior space than Regular
What makes the DOME 3 BRAKE unique?
180° opening canopy with magnetic FIDLOCK® closure
The canopy opens fully on both sides and stays in any position. The FIDLOCK® magnetic buckles snap shut by themselves and open with one finger – faster, safer and more elegant than Velcro or regular buckles.
Hand brake co-developed with KARASAWA – safe on slopes too
The brake components of the DOME 3 series were co-developed with Japanese brand KARASAWA. The hand brake and internal drum brake give you full control of your speed – on slopes, wet roads or sudden movements. The brake sits exactly where your hands rest.
Air tyres on automotive bearings – whisper-quiet
The same tyre technology as quality baby strollers: the air tyres absorb shocks on cobblestones, gravel and dirt paths. The wheels run on bearings like those in cars, keeping rolling resistance and noise to a minimum – a quiet, smooth ride, even over longer distances.
Three-wheel aluminium frame with 360° swivel front wheel
The welded aluminium frame is light yet exceptionally strong. The swivel front wheel makes one-handed steering easy – handy on narrow paths, in shops and in crowds.
Folds in one movement
Squeeze both levers and the frame folds to just 30 cm deep. Fits easily in a car boot or hallway.
Removable cot with anti-escape leashes
The cot attaches to and detaches from the frame in one move. Two built-in anti-escape leashes keep your dog safely in the stroller, even with the canopy open.
17-litre basket and two cup holders
Spacious basket under the stroller for a bag, water bottles and accessories. Two cup holders included as standard.
UPF 50+ sun protection
The cot fabric offers excellent UV protection – including for sun-sensitive dogs.

What is the difference between Regular and Large?
The difference lies in the interior space and maximum load capacity. Regular is suitable for dogs up to 12 kg with a cot interior of 53.5 × 31 cm. Large offers more space for dogs up to 20 kg with an interior of 66 × 32 cm. The frame of both sizes is identical in width and folded dimensions — the difference is exclusively in the cot.
Will my dog fit in the DOME 3 BRAKE?
Measure your dog's body length from nose to tail base and compare with the cot interior length: 53.5 cm (Regular) or 66 cm (Large). Your dog should be able to lie comfortably without paws or snout touching the side walls. When in doubt between two sizes, choose the larger one.
Can I transport multiple small dogs at the same time?
Yes, as long as the combined weight stays below the maximum (12 kg for Regular, 20 kg for Large) and both dogs can lie comfortably together in the cot.
Are the air tyres difficult to maintain?
No. The air tyres work like bicycle tyres — inflate them to the recommended pressure with the included air pump. AirBuggy recommends checking tyre pressure monthly. Replacement tyres and inner tubes are available as accessories.
How do I fold the DOME 3 BRAKE?
Press both handles on the handlebar simultaneously and the frame automatically folds to a depth of 30 cm. Remove the cot beforehand with one hand movement using the release button. The entire process takes less than 30 seconds.
Is the DOME 3 BRAKE also suitable for cats?
Yes. AirBuggy is used by many cat owners, especially for older or less mobile cats. Check the weight and dimensions — Regular is sufficient for most cat breeds.
What is the difference between the DOME 3 BRAKE and the DOME 3 PREMIER?
The BRAKE is the base model with the widest colour choice. The PREMIER is the premium Limited Edition with four exclusive features: off-road tyres, ergonomic square handle, self-standing lock and water-repellent OEKO-TEX®-certified fabric. The PREMIER is available in a limited number of seasonal colours.
Can I wash the cot separately?
The cot is not machine washable. AirBuggy recommends wiping the fabric with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The cot can be fully removed from the frame for easy cleaning.
