Which Sleepypod can go in the aircraft cabin?

The Sleepypod Air 2 (up to 8 kg) and the Sleepypod Atom (up to 5.5 kg) are made for the cabin. Some airlines accept the Mini; the Mobile Pet Bed is not intended for air travel. Every airline has its own size limits, so always check before you book.

What does the Center for Pet Safety certification mean?

The Center for Pet Safety is an independent organisation that crash-tests pet carriers and car harnesses. Sleepypod models received a certification or 5 stars, each for a specific maximum weight. Above that weight the rating does not apply.

What is the difference between the Sleepypod Air 2 and the Atom?

The Air 2 is larger (up to 8 kg) and its ends compress to fit under the seat. The Atom is more compact and lighter (1.45 kg, up to 5.5 kg) and folds flat.

How do I secure a Sleepypod in the car?

Carriers and beds are secured with the car seat belt through the belt straps. The Clickit Range is a harness with 3-point attachment to the seat belt on the back seat. Use only original Sleepypod accessories.

Can I wash the bedding?

Yes. Remove the Ultra Plush bedding and machine wash it on a cold delicate cycle. Wipe the outside with a damp cloth.
